I have been looking for a night routine that will give me all the fall cozy vibes but still allow me to feel relaxed and motivated for the next day!

If you’re anything like me then so have you! But don’t worry I’ve finally found the best fall night routine you will LOVE!

  3. Make some tea
  4. Tidy up clutter

  6. Turn on some fall vibes playlist
  7. Plan the next day
  8. Sink down into a bubble bath
  9. Read a book
  10. Watch all the fall vibes shows like “Gilmore Girls”
  11. Face care routine
  12. Go to bed at a consistent time
  13. Feel relaxed and motivated for the next day

 

Setting the mood

The first important step in creating a cozy fall night routine is having a cozy environment. I love to light some candles and turn on my Himalayan salt lamps in the bedrooms and living room. These lamps give off the perfect amber light that just evokes all the cozy feels!

The next step towards coziness is having a comfy atmosphere. To do this I like to tidy up a couple of things if they weren’t done so already such as putting away the dishes and any laundry or things left out from the day. That way my space is free from any distractions and helps to set up the next morning to run more smoothly.

Then I like to make a warm cup of tea, my favorite is raspberry, and has helped improve my period health as well so that’s a perfect little bonus to my night routine as well as tastes very yummy, especially with some honey added to it!

Finally, once all the tidying up is done I like to cuddle under a bunch of blankets and get to my planning portion of the night… I know I know I can hear your groan from here but trust me planning ahead the night before has been a huge game changer in stress and waking up the next day more motivated and productive!

Planning

Whether you are a huge planner or totally new to it implementing a simple planning session in your night routine can transform your life! I have seen the difference planning has made in my life. On days I don’t plan ahead the mornings are unmotivating and chaotic, but when I do life runs just a little bit more smoothly and I feel like I have time…. not running around like a chicken with its head cut off!!😵

So grab your planner, a cute pen, and your drink, cozy up under a blanket, and let’s get to planning!

I like to start out by assessing the tasks I didn’t get done for the day and deciding which ones are the most important to move on to the next day.

Then I get a game plan for my lunch ideas and plan out my outfit. I have been planning out my outfit since grade school and maybe it’s a girl thing maybe not but it sure has helped my mornings be a lot more productive so I don’t have to change outfits five different times because I don’t know what I want to wear! 🤠

 

Now that all the planning is done we can finally relax!!

 

Relaxation

My all-time favorite way to relax especially in the fall season is to take a nice warm bath! I love to set up my moonlight I got from my Mother-In-Law which I love so much it has a TON of different color features as well as a timer which is one of my favorite parts about it because I do not like to take more than a 30-minute bath so when the light goes off I know it’s done!

I get my light set up, grab my current read, pour myself some wine or a mocktail, sink down into all of the magical warmth, and let all my worries melt away.

I sometimes use Epsom salts as well and pour a cup amount in while the water is running. Right now I have been trying our Dr. Teals vitamin C kind and I can see improvements in my body, it not only smells AMAZING but it also leaves my skin so so so smooth and soft!

You can always skip the bath and do whatever you like to relax for the night whether that is reading, yoga, meditating, watching a show, etc.

 

After I relax for a little bit I take a little pause to do my skincare. I used to dread my skincare routine and rush it, but now I found by taking my time not only has my skin improved but I also look forward to my routine! It has a calming effect on me, especially if I use my jade roller it’s like a mini massage night!

By now it’s either bedtime or I still have an hour left so I will either go back to reading or finish watching a show.
